History

In June 2015, Universal Studios Japan confirmed that they would be getting a attraction themed to Jurassic Park. In July, construction began, when the park completed building the first supports and track. Later in August of the same year, the park released teasers around the park saying "The Greatest DINOSAUR RIDE IN THE WORLD! Coming in 2016...". On October 2, 2015, the park officially announced that the coaster will be named "Flying Dinosaur".
