Woody Woodpecker is a meet-and-greet character featured in the Woody Woodpecker's KidZone section of Universal Studios Florida, as well as the Port of Entry section at Islands of Adventure, both at Universal Orlando Resort. He is an anthropomorphic woodpecker, and a prominent character in the Golden age of American animation, alongside characters such as Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny. He is best known for his iconic laugh. Although the Woody Woodpecker's KidZone area features his name, the area features characters from other franchises in addition to his own. Woody is also featured prominently on Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster, a junior roller coaster also located in Woody Woodpecker's KidZone.

Woody Woodpecker was featured as the main character of his own land at Universal Studios Florida, respectively called Woody Woodpecker's KidZone, which later closed in 2023. This area also featured a junior roller coaster themed to the character, named Woody Woodpecker's Nuthouse Coaster. On this attraction, Woody's voice could be heard onboard during the initial lift hill, and he could also be seen as a statue, standing on the front coaster car as if surfing atop it.
At Islands of Adventure, Woody Woodpecker appears occasionally as a meet-and-greet character in the Port of Entry section. However, he sports a different costume here. Rather than his usual appearance, he is wearing an explorer outfit, with the logo of the park on his shirt.
